Chemical Lab Specialist College Credit Certificate
The Chemical Laboratory Specialist Certificate provides students with exposure to chemistry, mathematics, and biological sciences and/or physics necessary for success in a scientific lab setting. The content includes but is not limited to development of chemical and other scientific skills. The program completer will be able to assist chemists, biochemists, and chemical engineers by performing chemical, biological and physical laboratory tests for various purposes such as quality control monitoring of on-going production operations, research and development, and the maintenance of health and safety standards in the laboratory.
Many of the courses contained within this certificate are prerequisites for Allied Health and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) degree programs.
