CTS 2655 Network Administration

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement, manage, maintain and administer client, server networks running Microsoft Windows Server technologies. It includes lectures, demonstrations and labs on the use of application layer TCP/IP protocols such as DHCP and DNS. IPSec, Routing and Remote Access and the centralized logical management of objects on distributed networks using Active Directory services are also covered. The course also focuses on implementing Group Policy and understanding the Group Policy tasks required to centrally manage user and computers.
