Criminal Justice Technology Specialist College Credit Certificate

The Criminal Justice Specialist Technical Certificate is part of the Associate in Science in Criminal Justice Technology degree program. This technical certificate provides 24 credit hours of college coursework that is part of the Coleman Prison Strategic Training and Retention System (STARS).

Students entering this program who have completed the Basic Corrections Training or the Basic Corrections Training or the Basic Police Recruit Training at any FDLE/CJSTC approved training center and hold current state criminal justice certification may request that LSSC grant college credit.

The certificate is upward compatible with the Criminal Justice Technology, Associate in Science Degree.
